Arundel

Situated by the river Arun, Arundel is an outstanding English country town filled with history and heritage. This pre-doomesday town boasts a beautiful castle and cathedral that are a must see. But Arundel is not limited to this, the town which was traditionally a center of commerce with an international port and a well known market has many must see features. Two Museums, the Amberley Museum and the Arundel Museum, complete an amazing array of culture and learning which kids and their parents can enjoy. Arundel sports several venues which whilst less educational are just as fun. Some of these are The Arundel Boatyard, the Swanbourne Lodge, the Swanbourne Trout Farm and the Arundel Lido, a heated outdoor pool. The town is home to the Drip Action theatre for evening activities.

 

An easily accessible town which has great spots for fun and education, Arundel, through it's numerous Hotels or B&B's can accommodate visitors from nearby and afar.

London Bridge, London Victoria and Gatwick stations all have direct rail links to Arundel train station which is a short walk from the center. For shorter journies taxiss and buses are avaidable and vehicular access is easy through the A27 and A29.
